Bulkley Valley Christian School is seeking a part-time librarian (approximately 25 hours per week) for the 2022-2023 school year. We have a combined campus with approximately 270 students located in Smithers, a beautiful city that combines a warm sense of community and outdoor living while still providing many of the conveniences of a larger center.
The librarian’s job is to develop, supervise, and coordinate the school library program and assume responsibility for its total functioning. The librarian works with administration, teachers, and other staff in several different areas including working with students, providing resources for students and staff, and encouraging literacy development.
We are looking for applicants who have librarian training and/or experience, applicants who are willing to be trained, or applicants who have related training.
