A school-full of fun is coming our way with another BVCS Bazaar! We’re planning for an old-time good-time Bazaar that will feature everything you remember and love about school Bazaars: great baking, fun games, auctions, decorations, cake walk and plenty of chaos, ice cream and candy. And yes, we’ll have the “fish pond” (it’s not a Bazaar without that).
- lots of games and prizes
- bake sale
- refreshments
- a supper (by donation)
- bucket auction
- face painting
- live auction
- soft-serve ice cream
- and a whole lot more! (mystery jars, cake walk, etc.)
Remember to bring cash or cheques for game tickets, bake sale, bucket auction tickets and dinner donation.
We invite your donations of any of the following.
- mystery jars—stuff a 1-litre/1-qt canning jar with anything yummy, pretty, useful, unique or fun. We’ll raffle these off in a game format. Ex: lego, jelly beans, hair scrunchies, cookie dough ingredients, soup ingredients, neck ties, hardware, etc. Please make it desirable (no broken/used stuff)
- fancy cakes/cupcakes—make a cake or cupcakes for the cake walk. The fancier the better. Use a plate/platter that you don’t need to have returned to you.
- bake sale—make something for the bake sale. Use a plate/platter that you don’t need to have returned to you.

We have over 150 available volunteer slots, and we’ll need all the help we can get. We need adult and student help. Most volunteer slots are 30 minutes, and you can sign up for one or more…whatever suits your fancy.
Students: you must be in high school. You may collect service hours, but it is your responsibility to record those service hours.
We’re looking for items, services and experiences that will make great auction items. We need things of all values…small and big. We reserve the right to determine which auction a donation will be put into.
- bucket auction—this is a style of silent auction. We’re looking for items and services such as small electronics, handmade crafts, household items, children’s toys, tools, services
- live auction—this the fun-filled and often rambunctious live auction that you’ve come to love. Donations of items, services and experience are invited. We’re delighted to have Matt Taylor serve as our auctioneer again.
This is not a rummage sale…please, no used or broken items. Home-made is welcome.
