As parents and as the church we have the primary responsibility to teach our children well, with a view that they too would embrace an adult faith in due time. Christians schools support this vision. We need to step back and consider the unique dynamics of how God does this work in the lives of our children, our teens and for emerging adults.

Gordon T. Smith serves as the Executive Director of Christian Higher Education Canada (CHEC), an association of 34 Canadian-based universities, colleges and theological seminaries. He comes to this responsibility after many years in senior academic administration, in Asia, and then in Canada.
