Preschool introduces your child to the fun of learning! Through lots of hands-on activities, play, and interaction with other students and our preschool teacher, your child will thrive and grow as they prepare for kindergarten.

Fees
BVCS preschool is $170/month (2025/26 year) for two-days/week sessions.
Affordable Childcare Benefit
We strongly recommend that families apply for the Affordable Child Care Benefit. This helps families with the cost of child care, including our licensed preschool. You can apply online here or visit the Smithers Childcare Resource and Referral (Smithers CCRR) office at the Bulkley Valley Child Development Centre.

Register for September 2025
Registration opens on Friday, February 7. You can choose to register in-person or online. Either way is fine.
Register Online
To register online for the preschool year beginning in September 2025 please click the button below. This will take you to an electronic registration form. The forms opens on February 7.
Register in person
To register in person, you can pick up a printed package at the BVCS office anytime. If you’d prefer to print the forms at home, click the button below (you’ll get a PDF). Bring completed forms to BVCS on or after February 7.
