Preschool introduces your child to the fun of learning! Through lots of hands-on activities, play, and interaction with other students and our preschool teacher, your child will thrive and grow as they prepare for kindergarten.

Fees
BVCS preschool is $175/month (2026/27 year) for two-days/week sessions.
Affordable Childcare Benefit
We strongly recommend that families apply for the Affordable Child Care Benefit. This helps families with the cost of child care, including our licensed preschool. You can apply online here or visit the Smithers Childcare Resource and Referral (Smithers CCRR) office at the Bulkley Valley Child Development Centre.

Preschool Application Form (for current session)
Preschool enrolment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. This application is for the current (2025/26) year ending in June 2025. For September applications, see below.

Registration for September 2026
It will soon be time to register your child for preschool beginning in September 2026!
Preschool registration for September 2026 will open on February 6, 2026 (at 8:30 AM). You may access the PDF application using the button below.
IMPORTANT: Forms should be submitted (in hard copy or email) to BVCS after registration opens. Forms submitted before this time will be accepted but will be time-stamped as received at 10 AM on February 6.
