We’ve launched the 2024 BVCS Litter-a-thon, and high school students are busily canvassing for donations. The Litter-a-thon (highway clean-up) will be run on Wednesday, May 8 (weather permitting) with the cooperation and support of Dawson Road Maintenance and the Smithers RCMP.
Funds raised go directly to student school accounts, allowing students to pay for miscellaneous school fees such as athletics, drama, field trips and travel and other school-related activities. Students cannot ‘withdraw cash’ from these accounts…they are strictly for school-related student activities.
