The board of Bulkley Valley Christian School is excited to release a new strategic plan for 2025 – 2028. We encourage our school community to become familiar with this important guiding document.
Shaped around four pillars (education program, community engagement, support and resources, and donor development), the strategic plan focusses the energies of the board and administration on strategic priorities for the next three years. The action items in the plan are measurable steps towards a strengthened fulfillment of our mission.
The board developed this plan over a period of about 8 months with input from staff and guidance from the Society of Christian Schools in BC (SCSBC). This included a dedicated Friday evening and full-day Saturday session that combined all parties (administration, board and SCSBC) for an engaging set of discussions and direction-setting.
As it is executed, the new strategic plan will bring noticeable changes to BVCS programs, community and facilities. Several key drivers are embedded in this plan, including:
- enriching experiential learning
- fostering greater engagement with our mission and improved bridges to our community
- enhancements to our learning and social spaces
- strengthened EA and SEA training and culture
- improved engagement with our donors and supporting community
The full plan is available electronically below and is also available in print at the BVCS office.
