BVCS has hired a flooring contractor for our gym floor replacement. We anticipate flooring work to begin on June 29. The contractor would like us to supply some people as labourers to assist with the floor installation. This is not a volunteer position—it is paid work ($20/hour and up).
Labourers should be:
- 16+ years old
- parents or adults welcome
- will need you own PPE (probably just steel-toe boots, as there is no overhead work)
- strong workers with ability to follow direction and work safely (hazardous conduct will result in immediate dismissal)
- scheduled start date is 29 June. You can set your own hours.
- should be about a 3-week installation window
Any labourers will be placed on the contractor’s payroll as employees for the period of this floor installation.
