Grade 12 will be using a bus for the week-long trip to Haida Gwaii. They will need to use the new bus (#3—used for the Smithers/Witset run) because it does not have luggage boxes. The luggage boxes on Bus #1 are very low and make it impossible to load that bus on some of the Haida Gwaii ferry ramps. The class is large enough that it is impractical to use parent vehicles for this trip.
Parents and students using the Smithers/Witset route should be aware of the following route interruptions:
- Monday September 9—Morning route runs as normal. No afternoon route
- Tuesday September 10 – Friday September 13—No AM or PM routes
- Monday September 16—Regular service resumes
