Just after finishing at the Canada Winter Games in PEI, Grade 11 student Ava W is preparing to race at the Nordic Canada Ski Nationals in Thunder Bay.

Ava’s races (all times are Eastern Standard Time EST):
- U18 women skate 7.5 km—Begins 8:30 AM Saturday, March 11
- Free Technique Sprint Time Trial followed by heats—Monday, begins 10 AM
- Club Team Sprint Classic Technique Time Trial followed by heats—Tuesday, begins 8:30 AM (Ava skiing with teammate Finley G.)
- Mass Start Classic 15 km—begins 9 AM
Ava is in U18 women’s division.
