The Board of Bulkley Valley Christian School is excited to release its new strategic plan for 2022 – 2025.
In the fall of 2021, the board struck a committee to develop a new strategic plan for BVCS. Through a series of consultations with staff and board, the committee identified five ‘pillars’ for the new three-year strategic plan:
- Community engagement
- Facilities
- Human Resources
- Education/Program
- Leadership Development
The strategic plan is not comprehensive and is not intended to address every area of BVCS. Instead, it is a focussed plan that addresses these five strategic priorities in concrete, measurable ways. The board, committees and administrative staff use the strategic plan as an important guide to focus our energies and resources over the next three years. Each action item on the strategic plan has been given a ‘due date’ and an assigned person or committee to be responsible for that item.
The strategic plan is a public document. It is posted in administrative offices, staff room and other areas of our building. It will be considered at each board meeting.
