We have confirmed an AM/PM driver for route #2 (Witset) for the foreseeable future. This will be welcome news to parents and students on that route.
Prior to this, we had no drivers lined up for November. We are delighted that Mr. Doug Henderson will be filling in for the foreseeable future. Mr. Henderson has been familiarizing himself with this route by riding and driving the route with other drivers. Please be patient as he continues to become familiar with the route and stops.
Route #2 has been covered by temporary drivers since the beginning of the school year. We’re very grateful for each of them. We do have someone who is working towards their Class 2 license. When he is trained and licensed, he will take over as the regular route driver. We do not know when this will be, but we do not anticipate this before Christmas break.
