This week we celebrated the addition of a bus driver to our routes. Mr. Andreas Degn successfully passed his driver examination and is now licensed. He is training for Route #2 and will take over from Mr. Henderson soon. Mr. Henderson will continue to drive the Thursday afternoon route.
We can now shift our focus to training Mr Henderson and another driver on Route #1, as substitutes. Our goal is to have regular full-time drivers on each route, as well as substitute drivers who are familiar with both routes. This would allow our regular drivers to take sick days, compassionate days and deal with emergencies as they arise without disrupting regular bus service.
Our bus routes are fully subscribed with riders, and we are glad for the strong support we have from parents and other schools as we operate this service.
Families and schools who use our bus should expect invoicing soon.
