The grade 6/7 class is planning a school-wide character day on November 27th. K – 12 students should dress up like a character from a book, a TV show, a video game, or a movie.

Elementary students will enjoy a pizza hot lunch with ice cream sandwiches. High school will have a normal hot lunch.

Beginning at 11:45, all students will read for 30 minutes.

  • Students in grades K-3 will have a teacher read to them.
  • Students in grades 4-12 will be encouraged to bring a flashlight (no phones) to read with because we are going to shut all the lights off in the school.

After lunch we have provided a movie to watch for K-7 in different cohorts. High school will be doing something for the career day.

There will be prizes for the best costume in each cohort. The teachers will be the judges. At the end of the day we will have a COVID-friendly parade in the gym.

Please encourage your students to:

  1. Dress up
  2. Bring a flashlight (Grade 4-12)
  3. Bring a book to read (Grade 4-12)
  4. Have a great attitude.
