BVCS has launched our 2021 Christmas project: Operation Christmas Child. This well-known ‘shoebox’ campaign by Samaritan’s Purse is a great way for children to reach across the globe with the gospel, generosity and learning.
We have challenged our entire student body to fill as many shoeboxes as possible. To support this, a generous donor will be providing a prize for the winning class (the class with the most completed shoeboxes). The prize is a small Panago pizza for each student in the winning class.
Collection date will be Monday, November 8. During that week, Mrs. Melissa Huisman (a BVCS parent) will bring all of the boxes to Terrace for shipping to Samaritan Purse’s sorting and distribution facility.
If you’d like to participate in Operation Christmas Child, please feel free to pick up an empty box from BVCS during office hours.
