BVCS will have two opportunities to support cancer research and show our support for those who experience the effects of cancer.
Tuesday, September 19 · Cops for Cancer
Cops for Cancer is a group of first responders (with support team) that rides around Northern BC raising money for cancer. The team should arrive around 9 am (but cannot give us an exact time). We will meet in the parking lot outside the kindergarten room, and parents are welcome to join us. This is a fundraiser and we are asking students to bring in money to support this cause.
Thursday, September 21 · Terry Fox Run
The Terry Fox Run is an annual event at BVCS. We will have the run at 1:30 pm via a supervised and predetermined route (it has been communicated to teaching staff). Parents are invited to join us. After the run, students will meet on the field for a treat and prayer. Students are encouraged to bring money for the Terry Fox Run.
