When your child misses school for any reason, it is very important to inform the school as soon as possible. This is for student safety and for record-keeping purposes. Parents should inform the school when a child will miss part of a day, an entire day, or multiple days.
You can inform the school of student absences in any of the following ways:
- use our absentee form on our website
- through the MyBVCS app (Tap on Information / Absentee Form)
- phone the school office 250-847-4238 (8 AM or after)
