We’re laying the groundwork for the first-ever BVCS Online Auction! We plan to host this on February 24, 25, and 26.

We’re looking for auction item donations. You can donate items (new, new condition, or newly made), experiences or services. Some ideas include:

  • Items: electronics, household items, tools, gadgets, home-built wooden furniture or wall hangings, gift certificates, original art, wall hangings, pies and baking, and more
  • Experiences: berry picking, river boat trips, cabin rentals, event tickets, ski passes, meal packages, gift certificates, and more
  • Services: automotive detailing, mechanical work, babysitting, car washing, snowplowing, and more

The sky is the limit. Get as creative as you can! Keep in mind that an online auction is not a rummage or garage sale. We prefer new items (or newly made), and items should have a general or broad enough appeal to garner bids. If you have a number of smaller items, you would do well to consider combining them into a themed package. For example: rather than entering a colouring book into the auction, consider making it a colouring basket with crayons, markers, several books, craft items, etc. and then package it an appealing way. We do reserve the right to refuse to include items if we feel that they don’t suit the auction format well.

When you’ve decided what you’d like to donate, you can let us know with this easy-to-complete online form.
