At BVCS we desire to learn and flourish together. Many activities that contribute to brain health, cognitive development, mental health, and social connection aren’t a part of the regular school curriculum. Take knitting, for example. Or many other forms of needle-work. Not only are these activities fun and rewarding, producing beautiful end products, the journey of creating is itself healing. That’s why you are invited to join the fun!
Starting on January 15, the Online Learning room will be available for students Grade 2 and up to work on needle-work projects during the lunch break on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Come to:
- learn a new skill (knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, etc.)
- get some help or tips as needed
- work on a stitchery project you’ve already started while enjoying the company of others
- share what you’ve made or are making and inspire others
Join us in the Online School room, Wednesday and Thursday lunch hours (11:50-12:25).
